Navigating the vibrant landscape of GPU Jungle in Astro's Playroom offers players a wonderful trip down memory lane filled with PlayStation history. Among the various levels within this world, Raytrace Ruins stands out with its beautiful lighting effects and unique environmental challenges. Tracking down all the hidden collectibles in this stage is essential for completing the murals in your PlayStation Labo hub.
Uncovering the Early Hidden Secrets
The journey through Raytrace Ruins begins in a colorful area where multiple Astro Bots are playing around. Right at the very start of the level, you will notice some exposed electrical cables sticking out of the ground near where the bots are mimicking ninjas. Pulling these loose wires will immediately reward you with your first puzzle piece.
As you progress forward to the first checkpoint, you should avoid rushing straight ahead into the main path. Instead, look closely to the left of the checkpoint area to discover a hidden alcove nestled securely in the wall. Tucking yourself into this secret pathway will reveal the second puzzle piece waiting to be collected.
Scaling the Vine Covered Cliffs
After acquiring the initial items, the platforming challenges begin to increase in verticality as you climb higher. You will need to use your jetpack boosters to navigate across narrow ledges and jump onto nearby walls covered in green vines. Pay close attention to your surroundings here, as the environment uses clever physics layouts to obscure things.
Once you successfully cross the tightrope section, the intense wind mechanics will push your character to the side. Let the gusts carry you safely over to a platform located on your right side. Landing here and throwing a hard punch at the nearby plant will reveal a hidden rectangular platform that you can climb to reach the third puzzle piece.
Targeting the Final Collectibles
The final section of the stage opens up after an exciting boss encounter that requires using your bow and arrow setup. After defeating the enemy, you will step onto another long tightrope to proceed through the level ruins. Stop about halfway across this rope and turn your camera around to inspect the open sky.
You will spot a circular target floating off to the right side of the main path. Shooting this target with your bow will immediately trigger a secret area to appear nearby. Exploring this newly formed zone will grant you access to the fourth and final puzzle piece needed for total completion.
